About The Writer

I left home shortly after finishing university, guided by a quiet but persistent feeling that the world was waiting for me.

My name is Steffi ~30. I am born and raised in Helsingborg, Sweden, and later moved to Malmö to feel closer to the world beyond.
At twenty, I wasn’t yet experienced in travel, so I began close to home—taking my first solo steps across the border to Norway. My first road trip led me five hours north of Oslo, into the quiet beauty of Flåm—and the rest is history.

Over the next two years, I worked in different parts of the country. As a Nurse, I go where I'm needed, and that sense of purpose has shaped the way I move through the world.

Today, I work at sea on a cruise ship, a life I've been living for the past three years. With me, I always carry my travel journal and now its time to share some of my pages. Books and reading about the world, its people, their experiences and challenges, is just as important to me as writing. It deepens my understanding in ways I once didn't think were possible.

Now, I work as a freelance travel writer, sharing my experiences, reflections, observations, and the small, often overlooked details that make each place unique.

My goal is to help others take their first step into the world - whether that means a simple road trip to the mountains of Norway, exploring cities like Prague, Berlin, or Barcelona, or opening the door to more unexpected journeys. From surfing in remote coastal villages to riding camels through the deserts of Morocco, I believe travel should be accessible, inspiring, and meaningful - for everyone, at any stage of life.
